3,000 people infected with bacterial disease from vaccine lab in China

- Advertisment -

More than 3,000 people in China have been infected with a bacterial disease from a state-owned biopharmaceutical plant making animal vaccines.

According to an AFP report, some 3,245 residents have been infected with the disease which leaked from the lab.

The disease can cause fever, joint pain, and headache when a person is exposed to infected animals.

So far, there is no evidence that it cannot be transmitted person-to-person.
