First dose of Covid-19 vaccine in UAE injected UAE’s health minister

- Advertisment -

The first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the UAE has been injected with Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, the Minister of Health and Prevention.

The minister received the jab on Saturday. It’s in line with the health authority’s move to administer the vaccine to frontline healthcare workers who are at high risk of getting the virus,.

“The country seeks to protect people from any dangers that may face due to the nature of their work. The positive results of clinical trials are encouraging. The vaccine is safe and effective. It is compatible with the laws and regulations that allow a faster review of licensing procedures,” he said.
