Gaming centre in Dubai shut down for hosting birthday party within premises

A gaming centre in Dubai was closed down by the authorities for breaking Covid-19 preventive measures and hosting a birthday party within its premises. 

The Dubai Municipality confirmed that the gaming centre was temporarily closed down for violating instructions included in Circular No. 60. 

The latest closure announced days after it closed one salon during the weekend, in addition to six smoking areas and two restaurants. 

Since September 20, some 2,66 establishments were inspected. Of the total number, 2,306 were complying with Covid-19 precautionary measures. 

The municipality also fined 17 establishments and issued 42 warnings to other companies.
