A Dubai resident was fined by the Dubai Police for organizing a house party in violations of Covid-19 precautionary measures.
The unnamed woman was fined for organizing a private party while not complying with social distancing measures and wearing face masks.
The woman has violated the resolution no. 38 issued by the Attorney General of the UAE on enforcement of penalties for violating following Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2020.
Brig. Jamal Salem Al-Jallaf, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation at the Dubai Police, said that the violator was slapped with AED10,000 fine.
The guests of the private party were also fined AED5,000 each.
He reminded members of the public to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures announced by the local authorities and to report violators via the Police Eye service on smartphones or by contacting the Dubai Police Call Centre (901).
