Netizens are calling the attention of the Department of Education for allegedly allowing ‘dirty names’ and ‘double meaning’ published on the module and learning materials of students.

In a Facebook post by Reyson Lee, the module, which was used by his 16-year-old sister, including dirty names such as Pining Garcia, Abdul Salsalani, Malou Wang, and Tina Moran.

Netizens claimed that these names may have double meaning-Finingger Siya, Salsal, Maluwang, and Tinamuran.

One Facebook user commented: “I wonder anong mayroong committee ng institution/school who allowed this material to be used as learning material. Indeed, our education in the Philippines is showing its capacity to give quality education and it’s alarming and sad. You’re expecting our children to become morally responsible pero may ganitong texts. Sana naman panindigan ang core values. Kung nagpapatawa ang may gawa nito, then hindi siya nkakatawa.”
