‘BAYANIHAN IN DUBAI’ Help pours in for Filipinos victim of Satwa fire

Several groups and private individuals have come forward to help Filipinos whose homes were recently destroyed in the Satwa fire.

The good samaritans provided the victims of fire with used clothes, groceries, among others.

The fire happened last September 24. One of the first people to call for help is Jyn B. Sanico. Through Facebook, she was able to call the attention of various groups and individuals.

A few days after she posted her appeal, she has received more than 400 WhatsApp message, 275 messages on Messenger, 44 SMS messages with multiple missed calls.

Even non-Filipinos have participated in the ‘bayanihan.’
