UAE may enjoy a three-day long weekend this October

- Advertisment -

As the Prophet’s Birthday expected to take place later this month, UAE residents may enjoy a three-day long weekend.

The Islamic holiday for this year follows the Hijri calendar falling on Rabi Al Awaal 12. As it’s dependent on moon-sighting, the Prophet’s Birthday may fall on Wednesday, October 28, or on Thursday, October 29.

If it falls on the 29th, workers who enjoy a two-day holiday will have a total of three days off before October ends.

The official announcement will be declared by the UAE government this month.
