SANA ALL? DOLE says 280,000 OFWs have benefited from DOLE AKAP

- Advertisment -

Around 280,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have already received the P10,000 one-time cash assistance under the Abot Kamay ang Pagtulong (AKAP), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) claimed.

The cash assistance is being distributed through the 40 Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

It’s being given to OFWs whose work has been affected by the pandemic.

As of October 2, the agency said that they have already distributed P2.853 billion both on sire and repatriated OFWs.
