Passengers arriving at Dubai airports holding non-Dubai issued visa need ICA approval

-

- Advertisment -

The authorities in the UAE have reminded travelers that even those residents arriving at the Dubai International Airport and holding visas issued in other emirates are required to secure a pre-travel approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) to return to the country.

“According to new travel requirements, holders of residence issued in other Emirates need approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to return to the country,” a spokesperson for the Dubai Airports was quoted as saying by the local newspaper Khaleej Times.

In-bound passengers arriving at Dubai airports, meanwhile, are still required to secure approval from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) to return to the UAE.
