The Dubai Police have recently seized hundreds of bicycles and e-bikes that belonged to various owners violating traffic rules.
A total of 269 bicycles and 30 e-bikes were seized in one week alone in the Rafa’a area, Karama, Al Souq Al Kabeer, Al Rawla, and Al Mankhool.
The latest crackdown was part of Rafa’a Police Station’s road safety campaign in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality.
Violations include riding bicycles on main roads and undesignated areas, not wearing helmets and reflective vests, illegal parking of bicycles, and riding against the traffic flow.
