Dubai to repatriate tourists who arrive in UAE without confirmed return ticket

- Advertisment -

Following reports of stranded passengers in Dubai Airports, starting today, those tourists who will arrive in the country without a confirmed ticket will be repatriated back to their country of origin.

Dubai Airports has reportedly told airlines to apply the latest rule.

The new circular came after several passengers from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan were stranded in the airports for failing to meet the entry requirements.

“Passengers with a visit and tourist visas arriving in Dubai without a return ticket will be not be permitted entry, and it is the sole responsibility of the airline to arrange and cover the cost of a ticket/flight to return to their passenger to the country of origin,” the circular noted.
