Eleven Filipinos have been sent back home from Dubai after failing to secure the necessary requirements from UAE government agencies.
Citing a GMA news, these Filipinos were denied entry in the emirate on October 9.
The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai has recently reminded returning Filipinos to secure the necessary permits before flying to the emirate.
“The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai wishes to remind Filipino residents of the UAE who are returning via the Dubai International Airport to secure approval from the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) or the UAE’s Federal Authority and Citizenship (ICA),” the Consulate wrote in a statement.
