Pinoy in Dubai jailed for secretly filming ladies inside toilet; to be deported 3 months after

- Advertisment -

A 27-year-old Filipino in Dubai has recently been jailed for filming women secretly.

The Filipino waiter was sentenced to three months in prison by the Court of First Instance on Monday. He was proved to be recording video of Filipino women while they’re taking a shower in their shared accommodation.

He will be deported after serving his jail term.

Citing official records, Gulf News reported that the OFW was putting his mobile phones in the shower and other apartments in the Al Muraqabbat area.

A Filipina witness who has been staying in the apartment for three years said that upon stepping out of the shower one morning, she noticed a mobile phone on the floor.

“The apartment is divided into seven rooms and has five sharing bathrooms and a kitchen. I saw the phone on the ground and the camera was recording. The defendant came and tried to take the phone but I saw clips for my roommates naked in the shower,” she said.

The waiter took the phone from her and then deleted the clip but she pulled it back and alerted the Dubai Police.

“He deleted the clip but the phone still had the other videos for women while having a shower. He placed his phone in the ceiling and pointed the camera to the shower. There were many clips on his phone for different women,” she further added.
