Pinay nurse who helped homeless give birth awarded with ‘Bayaning Nars’

- Advertisment -

The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) has recently awarded the nurse who helped a homeless woman give birth while on her way to work as 2020 ‘Bayaning Nars’.

Nurse Mary Lorrainne Pingo earned millions of praises for helping the woman give birth on a sidewalk.

The same award was also given to 11 nurses in the Philippines who died on duty fighting the deadly Covid-19.

The association of nurses gives the award to ‘unsung’ nurse heroes.
