The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has called on residents and citizens to update their personal details through a portal to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

The authority launched the digital initiative ‘Your data… Your identity’ to help the medical sector coordinate its efforts and response to the pandemic, and will be accessible to other government sectors.

ICA’s spokesperson Brig. Murshid Al Mazrouei announced this during the media briefing on Tuesday.

Personal details can be checked and updated through the ICA’s smart application or ica.gov.ae website.

The initiative’s first phase starts on Wednesday, October 28, and will run for up to one month.
