Pres Duterte to visit Bicol and other Rolly-hit areas

President Rodrigo Duterte is set to visit Legazpi City and other areas hit by super typhoon Rolly on Monday, Senator Bong Go confirmed. 

“Ang ating Pangulo ay mismong pupunta mamayang hapon doon sa mga lugar na tinamaan ng bagyo. Yung mga harest hit ay kanyang bibisitahin. Magkakaroon din siya ng aerial inspection at pagkatapos nito ay magkakaroon siya ng situationbrieifing with the Cabinent. Pinatawag niya lahat ng ahensya ng gobyerno para tumulong ito sa recovery effort ng gobyerno,” he said in the Laging Handa briefing. 

Aside from visiting Legazpi City, the chief executive will also visit other areas in Albay. 

“It’s confirmed that PPRD will be flying from Davao to Manila today. En route to Manila he will be conducting an aerial inspection in Bicolandia and Calabarzon,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a separate statement. 

At least 10 individuals have died because of the typhoon, of which nine were from Albay.
