Pinoy vloggers using platform to help victims of massive typhoon and flooding

Popular vloggers, streamers, and social media influencers are using their platforms on the internet to help victims of a series of typhoons and floodings in some parts of the Philippines.

Some are raising funds from their revenues online, while others are launching donation drives to further help the victims.

Jelai Andres, who has over 2.5 million followers on Facebook alone, told Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (One at Heart, Jessica Soho).

Meanwhile, Online Streamer Elyson ‘Ghost Wrecker’ Caranza, said he himself has experienced poverty when his father died and his family was forced to sell their properties to survive.

For her part, Carla said that there were people they know that were asking for help from them. “Buhay yung nakataya kaya parang may kurot sa puso namin kapag wala kaming ginawa that time,” she added.

She further added that she, along with her partner, Elyson, wants to utilize their platform to help as many people as possible.
