You can now pay your traffic fine via mobile phone on installment basis

The Dubai Police has recently launched an initiative wherein motorists in the emirate can now pay their traffic fine on an installment basis via the police smart app.

The service on the app is available round the clock and launched in partnership with the Central Bank of UAE and Dubai Islamic Bank. 

“The smart service in line with Dubai Government’s strategy to provide happiness to customers,” Maj Gen Al Salal Saeed bin Huwaidi Al Falasi said in a statement. 

Motorists who have the app may log into the service of traffic fines payment and choose the installment option. 

Meanwhile, to proceed with the installment basis, the app user should agree on the conditions and fill a form with required personal information. 

“After the form is filled and sent, the request reaches the Central Bank for approval before the installment for the amount accumulated traffic fines is arrived at,” Cap Hussain Al Abdooli, Director of Traffic Fines Collection Section in Dubai Police said in a statement.
