A total of 48 NBA players have tested positive for the coronavirus, the NBA revealed.
The association announced the news ahead of its new season and when players are gearing up to come back on the court.
As part of the initial return-to-market testing phase, some 546 players have been tested for the virus which started between November 24 and November 30.
Those who have tested positive will be isolated until they were given clearance by the NBA.
