NAIA passenger stopped from boarding plane after presenting Covid-positive certificate

A passenger at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 bound to Butuan was barred from getting in the flight after presenting a certificate with a Covid-19 positive result. 

One of the crew members of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) called the attention of NAIA Terminal 2 authorities and a medical team immediately responded. 

Citing a The Filipino Times report, the has reportedly taken the swab test in Cavite. He has taken the swab test as part of the requirements for travelers. 

He arrived at the airport on December 20 and waited for a day for his flight. 

Airport authorities have already reached out to the Imus health authorities. The report did not note whether the passenger is aware of his condition.
