Dubai shuts down 13 businesses for violating rules related to face mask, social distancing

A total of 13 business establishments have been ordered to close by the Dubai Municipality for flouting Covid-19 rules. 

In a post shared by the Dubai Municipality on their Instagram account on Friday, January 15, it revealed that it had visited 2,377 establishments. Of the total, 2,315 have fully complied with the guidelines. 

“The total commitment rate reached 97% and the number of inspection visits reached 2,377. The commitment of 2315 establishments was confirmed, while the number of violations reached 36,” it announced. 

Five shisha cafes in Al Garhoud and Hol Al Anz; four salons in Hor Al Anz-East, Umm Al Sehif, and Al Warqaa; and four laundry shops at the Nayef area have been ordered to close for violating Covid-19 rules.
