Good news! Filipino Institute offers one-time 20% tuition discount to Covid vaccinated students

- Advertisment -

In a bid to persuade residents to get vaccinated against the Covid-19, the Filipino Institute has recently launched an initiative that allows Covid-19 vaccinated enrolees to avail themselves as much as a 20 percent discount on the tuition on face-to-face classes across all its campuses in UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar.

The privilege can only be used one-time by new enrollees and current students until Saturday, February 6.

According to Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, the founder and president of the Filipino Institute, those who received the first dose of the vaccine are entitled to have a 10% discount on the tuition; however, those who are fully vaccinated will get a 20% discount.

“Here in the Filipino Institute, we think the safety of our students. Following the rapid increase of Covid-19 in the country, it’s high time to encourage our people to be vaccinated against the deadly virus,” Rimando, who received his first dose of vaccine along with his employees last week in Wafi Mall, said.

He said that the privilege can be used both in short-term courses and professional diploma programs for in-classroom classes in UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain campuses.

Those who want to avail of the promotion are required to present proof that they indeed get the vaccine. They may present a note issued by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), or an SMS confirming their vaccination.
