Covid-19 vaccinated OFWs not exempted from PCR, quarantine rule

OWWA Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson explained the new protocols for returning OFWs starting February 1, 2021.

According to her, returning OFWs will no longer be swabbed upon arrival. They will be sent to OWWA quarantine facilities. Five days after, representatives from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will conduct PCR tests.

Those who were administered with the Covid-19 vaccine abroad are still mandated will still be subjected to quarantine and PCR tests.
