In an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Kuwaiti government has imposed a series of restrictions, including ceasing business operations between 8pm to 5am.
In a statement, the Cabinet announced it had ordered the closure of gyms and salons and other commercial establishments to cease operations at the mentioned time for one month starting February 7. However, pharmacies, supermarkets, and other food supply stores are exempted from the restrictions.
Health clubs, resorts, beauty salons, and hairdressing centers were also ordered shut.
Restaurants are also asked to close from 8pm to 5pm. Home delivery, however, will be allowed to operate during the closure time.
