62 establishments shut down in Dubai for violating Covid-19 rules


As Dubai Tourism intensified its inspection campaign to ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures, it announced that it has carried out more than 41,000 inspections during the past year.

With the total number of inspections made, some 1,094 violations were recorded and 62 venues were closed down. 

“During the past year, Dubai Tourism carried out more than 41,000 inspections, 1,094 violations were found and 62 venues were closed down,” it tweeted. 

In a video that was shared by Dubai Tourism on Twitter, it shows inspectors checking precautionary measures at a luxury hotel, restaurants, yachts, safaris and desert camps.
