Dubai receives new batch of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

Dubai has reportedly received a fresh batch of the Covid-19 vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech. In a local report, the Dubai Health Authority confirmed that the doses have already been distributed to all centres where the jab is offered for free.

Dubai has started using the vaccine on December 23. However, a month later, it has rescheduled the first dose of the vaccine amid a global shortage.

At this stage, those who can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine are elders, those with chronic diseases, people of determination, and frontliners.

Only those with a valid residence visa issued in Dubai may get the jab.

Those who fit the eligibility criteria are urged to secure an appointment by calling the DHA on 800342.
