Dubai vaccinated residents not exempted from 10-day quarantine when exposed to Covid-19

Not even a fully vaccinated individual in Dubai is exempted from the mandatory 10-day quarantine if he is in close contact with a Covid-19 patient.

The Filipino Times reported that they have received a message from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), confirming that even vaccinated individuals are not exempt from any precautionary guidelines in place in the emirate, including the mandatory 10-day quarantine.

“Taking the vaccine will not exempt you from doing following the precautionary, as all precautionary measures must be followed even after taking the Covid-19 vaccine. You will follow the same process as you should be in quarantine for 10 days, and if you faced any symptoms you can do the test,” DHA said.

Those vaccinated individuals who underwent the 10-day quarantine and did not manifest Covid-19 symptoms are not required to do a PCR test.
