More than 84,000 residents vaccinated against coronavirus in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) in the UAE announced that the number of people vaccinated against the coronavirus for the past 24 hours is 84,573. The total number of doses administered now stands at 5.84 million, taking the rate of doses per 100 people to 59.11. 

In a study conducted recently in Israel to 1.2 million people, it found out that the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine has proven to be 94 percent effective. It is the first peer-reviewed real-world research confirming the power of mass immunization campaigns to bring the pandemic to a close.

It has also found out that the a single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine against severe coronavirus offers strong protection.
