An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia died after falling from a vehicle.
According to a GMA News report, the victim was identified as Raymond Ambrocio, 27, and originally from Nueva Ecija. The report didn’t mention what type of car he rode and in which area the incident happened.
Hours before the incident last February 16, Ambrocio has reportedly sent a video to his family, according to his brother, Richard. The video showed him along with his co-workers.
According to Richard, they were informed about the sudden demise of their family member on the same day.
Citing other reports, Ambrocio was still delivered to ICU, however, he immediately died.
The incident has been ruled out to be ‘accident’, but the Ambrocio family thought otherwise.
According to Richard, in the video, they saw bruises on his body and marks on his neck.
“Sa tingin ko po yung nangyari sa kaniya pinagplanuhan nung mga kaibigan niyang ibang lahi,” Richard said.
The Ambrocio family sought help to further investigate the sudden death of thier family member.
There is no schedule yet on when the remains will be sent back to the Philippines, however, it’s already being taken care of by the Philippine Embassy in Jeddah according to OWWA-Region III.
