Former UAE fashion designer Rocky Gathercole dies at 55

Former UAE-based Filipino designer Rocky Gathercole has been found unconscious on Wednesday inside his bathroom at his home in Quezon City. He was 55. 

Gathercole dressed the likes of Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and other celebrities. 

His sudden demise was confirmed by his long-time friend and business associate, shoe designer Jojo Bragais. He said that the fashion designer was found unresponsive by his assistant inside his bathroom around 4:30pm on Wednesday. 

Citing an ABS-CBN report, Bragais rushed to his friend’s house after he was informed of the incident. 

Gathercole has been known for his eye-popping and sometimes disturbing creations.
