Filipino Institute’s volunteer health educator trainer Ms. Nenita Domingo Tuddao has recently been awarded the Marilag Award from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for her ‘unwavering efforts in the fight against the pandemic.’
The medical worker, who teaches Caregiving and Nursing Assistant in the training institute, received the award yesterday, March 25, at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai. She was chosen among the six nominees. Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes and Labor Attache Felicitas Bay were present at the event.
“I am just so overwhelmed, thankful, and grateful to God,” the volunteer-trainer whose mission is to educate her fellow kabayans abroad in the nursing field told The Global Filipino Magazine.
