Jun Legayada described his overseas journey as the opposite of easy. A son of a farmer, with the help of his relatives and the teachings of his parents, he was able to finish his BS Electrical Engineering degree.

Started from the bottom, Legayada, who hailed from Negros Occidental, worked in Saudi Arabia for a decade. He worked as an electrician before achieving massive business success in PPE.

According to the Facebook community page, Emirates Loves Philippines, the Filipino moved to Dubai in 2001 as a product manager for instrumentation products. In the company, he handled different products from many countries and traveled across Europe and the Middle East to attend seminars and meetings.

Last December 2009, urged by friends and inspired by his experiences, he finally opened his first company named Cabalera Engineering FZC.

As expected, the first few years were full of hardships and failures, with only one staff to help him. However, as an optimistic person, he kept pushing through until he acquired suppliers and had his own products he could sell.

Presently, Legayada can proudly say that he has the best products in his portfolio and seven employees who continue to help him a great deal in growing the company’s sales.
