UAE to reduce prices of 30,000 food items this month

- Advertisment -

Major retailers in the UAE are all set to reduce the price of 30,000 food items in time with the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Ministry of Economy (MOE) announced that the price of rice, flour, sugar, meat, fish, and juices will be reduced.

Discounts will range from 25 to 75 percent across 900 outlets in the UAE.

The authority will also clamp down on unfair prices during Ramadan.

MOE officials will carry out a total of 420 inspections to ensure establishments follow the rule.
