- Advertisment -

A domestic worker based in Dubai has been caught stealing AED5,000 worth of household goods from her own employer. The police authorities in the emirate caught the 39-year-old African woman.

Citing court records, the employer, who is of Arab nationality, while passing by her room last February, found that the former was using one of her face masks.

She suspected the maid was stealing household belongings. She searched the maid’s room and found that several of her personal belongings were there.

The stolen items include two iPhones, a tablet, and other stuff, worth roughly AED5,000.

Soon, the employer filed a case at the Dubai Police.

The maid was then arrested and during the interrogation, he confessed to stealing things of her personal interest.
