All education sector employees in Dubai must take PCR Covid-19 test every seven days

- Advertisment -

Dubai has mandated all education sector employees, who are eligible to get Covid-19 vaccine but choose not to, to take the PCR Covid-19 test every seven days.

The rule, according to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), is applicable to all working remotely or on campus.

It is also taking effect from Sunday, April 11.

The new rule applies to all private education institutes in the emirate, including early learning centres, schools, universities, and training institutes.

PCR test is also mandatory if symptoms of Covid-19 are present.

“You do not have to take the PCR test every seven days if you are not currently eligible for the vaccine, or if you have already had your first dose,” the KHDA said.
