Filipino Institute partners with Pulse International to help students secure jobs in UAE

Filipino Institute has recently entered an agreement with recruitment agency Pulse International to provide its students with local work placement in various sectors, including in medical, food and beverage, housekeeping, among others. 

Citing the memorandum of agreement that both companies signed and stamped with, it noted that the recruitment agency, a specialist provider of international healthcare staffing to the Middle East, shall provide work placement to every interested Filipino Institute student. 

To assure alumni get fair wages, the recruitment agency also assured that successful candidates’ monthly salary will not be less than AED2,000. 

“Most of our students are studying to secure a decent job, to provide their family a greener pasture. I hope, through this partnership, we’ll fulfill their dreams for their loved ones,” Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, founder and president of the Filipino Institute said. 

Additionally, the Dubai-based recruitment agency also agreed to provide the training institute’s students with internships to practice their profession before taking the plunge in the real world. 

Steps and requirements:

1. A form is needed to filled out in the office of Pulse International. Their office is located on Floor 20, #48 Burj Gate Tower, Downtown, Dubai, UAE. Same bldg of Sofitel Downtown Hotel.

2. One must bring a copy of passport, visa, passport-sized photo.

3. One needs to provide certificates, diploma, and reference letter, among others.

4. The agency will help the applicant to create a profile video to be forwarded to possible sponsor. Sponsors may be of Arab descents and other expats in the country.

According to the managing director of Pulse International, Eileen Asadi, applicants must be open for a live-in arrangement with at least two days off per month.
