Saudi Arabia announces Tuesday, April 13 as the first day of Ramadan

The moon-sighting committee in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed that the start of the holy month of Ramadan this year will be tomorrow, April 13. 

With this announcement, it is confirmed that April 12 will be the last day of the holy month of Shaaban. 

According to reports, the Taraweeh prayers this Ramadan at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah will be shortened to 10 raka’ts from 20.
