Dubai: Here’s how to check if your Philippine passport is already available for pick-up

- Advertisment -

Still waiting for a message from the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Dubai if your passport is already available for pick-up after renewing it with them? Worry no more because you can easily check it below!

What to do when your passport is already available for pick-up? In view of the current health crisis, applications are strictly by appointment. To get an appointment, please book at this link

“Prior appointment is required to avail of consular services at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai as part of the Consulate’s precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,” a note written on the PCG’s website read.

Once you received the email, a printed email confirmation of your online appointment with QR Code is required in addition to the requirements to avail of the consular service. The confirmed appointment is non-transferrable. The consulate is also following the ‘no email confirmation received no appointment’ rule.

After successfully acquiring all the requirements, proceed to the PCG’s Mabini Hall C, C3 Releasing Section and present your confirmed appointment for passport release, old passport, and official receipt to claim your new e-passport.

If the applicant cannot come personally to collect the passport, the applicant may authorize someone to pick-up the passport. His authorized representative must present the following requirements:

1. Authorization Letter (if your representative is your immediate family member) or Special Power Of Attorney (if your representative is not an immediate family member) (sample authorization letter / SPA);

2.  Print out of confirmed appointment for passport release

3. Old Passport of Applicant;

4. Original Receipt; and

5. Original and Copy of Valid Identification Card of Authorized Representative.

Applicants are also advised to avoid booking an appointment multiple times so as not to clog the appointment system and allow other applicants to book appointments.

“Multiple bookings may prevent you from receiving your booking confirmation and may lead to cancellation of your appointment,” PCG wrote.

Timing for passport releasing and collection during Sundays to Thursday (except legal holidays) are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
