3 dead, 10 arrested during a violent fight in Deira

A total of three people have died during a violent fight that involved 13 people in Deira, Dubai. 

According to a The National report, 10 people were arrested after the incident, in which knives and bats were used. 

The involved men, according to the same report, were all described as Asians. Three people were also injured. 

The incident happened in the Naif district of Deira. However, the Dubai Police did not mention when the fight exactly happened. 

Several people have left the scene before authorities arrived, however, they were traced within 24 hours. 

“Police patrols and criminal investigations teams were dispatched to the area at once,” said Brig Jamal Al Jallaf, head of criminal investigations, said.

“They found three dead bodies at the crime scene.

“Three men who sustained severe injuries as a result of being assaulted with sharp weapons were also found in the same area and were taken to hospital for treatment.”

“They were arrested and questioned and will be referred to Dubai prosecution to face charges, including those who were injured,” he further added.
