Peter Rosalita, the 10-year-old UAE-based Filipino who holds the title ‘a small boy with a big voice’ impressed the judges of the new America’s Got Talent season. In the pilot episode, Rosalita belted Celine Dion’s ‘All By Myself’ and shocked not only the judges but also the audience before him.
The talented kid introduced himself as a Filipino citizen who was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
“You are amazing. You are so cute even when you talk to us. I predict you’re gonna go far in this competition,” Howie Mandel, one of the judges in the competition.
“I think you’re incredible,” Heidi Klum said.
Asked about what he’ll do if he won the prize pot, Peter said he’d buy a Nintendo Switch and a laptop for his online schooling.
From 2018 to 2021, Peter joined talent search in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which was usually during school breaks. He participated in Almaty Kazakhstan where he ended up as the Grand Prix winner and in an online competition during the pandemic, First Gulf Musician Idol, which was hosted by Music School in Bahrain. The latter competition was participated by various students from UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
