TikTok man dancing inside Dubai metro arrested due to ‘indecent act’

The Asian man who was seen dancing inside the Dubai Metro, maskless, has been arrested by Dubai Police and charged with ‘Committing a Public Indecent Act’. 

According to the Dubai Police, the man in the viral TikTok video was disturbing other passengers with his inappropriate actions. 

According to Brig. Obaid Al Hathboor, Director of Transport Security Department, they took action after the video made the rounds online. 

The man in the video will face at least six months in prison or/and a fine of AED5,000. 

Citing the UAE Penal code, whoever openly commits an indecent and disgraceful act shall be punished by detention for a period of at least six months or/and a fine of AED5000.
