Filipino Institute introduced the Entrepreneurship course to both intrapreneurs, employees, and executives dealing with business opportunities, as well as to those aspiring ones who intend to develop and pursue business opportunities.
The interactive 24-week-long course will be spearheaded by Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, founder and president of Filipino Institute and a well-known Filipino entrepreneur in the Middle East who set up campuses in Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Bahrain. Mr. Rimando is also the publisher of The Global Filipino Magazine, Dubai Vibes Magazine, and the founder of Saint Zita Cleaning Services.
The course, according to him, will teach learners how to think and act entrepreneurially. “Participants will also learn how to start a start-up and operate a business while in school, this turning their learning into earning,” he said.
Mr. Rimando has a degree in accounting and a certified public accountant. While building the Filipino Institute, he studied at the International Financial Institution Society and secured an Accounting Professional Diploma. In 2018, he took two master’s degrees: Master in Business Administration (MBA) at the Leadership and Management Global Organization, and Master Project Manager (MPA) at the prestigious Royal Institute for Chartered Engineers. Mr. Rimando is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) candidate.
Completers will get a certificate that can be attested by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
Learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. First day of class is scheduled to start on Friday, July 2.
