A resident from the Philippines proved that online selling is not something to be ashamed of after purchasing her dream house, a very big dream for her, from being small-time seller to being a supplier.
Dana Mandia is a young owner of the women’s clothing brand Dnemnlph.
“For years, I have been praying for this, pero naisip ko masyado pa akong bata to dream this big so I let go of it,” she writes on Facebook.
Though she started this business in 2013, the journey, however, was never an easy climb.
“I had so many plans–changing plans. If you knew me, I always have back-up plans. Hindi pwedeng isa lang, dapat lagi akong ready kasi ayokong mag-fail and gusto ko lagi magawa yung goal ko. I was always that determined in reaching my goal. My plans kept changing also because they kept on failing. Yet, God’s plan never changed,” she added.
“I had my timeline. Sabi ko ‘Lord, pag di po nasunod to madedelay na lahat. Mahihirapan talaga.’ I was so stressed and frustrated that my plans aren’t working, my schedule isn’t followed. I can’t emphasize enough how indecisive, inconsistent & disappointed I were the past months,” Mandia further added.
Today, the Filipina online seller has over 380,000 likes on Facebook and over 150,000 followers on Shopee.
