Returning OFWs need to register their details in this portal

- Advertisment -

Before traveling to the Philippines, returning overseas Filipinos and international travelers are required to register their details in a portal set up by the Philippine government.

The portal, One Health Pass (OHP), under the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) website, streamlines travel protocols, systems, as well as documents, to ensure the safety of inbound and outbound passengers. It has been launched in mid-August and has been fully implemented nationwide on September 1.

As it gathers personal data, one needs to provide accurate and critical information related to health and personal background. These data will be transmitted to the local government.

“The accuracy of the information and personal data you fill in through this portal is your sole responsibility. By continuing to register, you confirm that you understand that the information provided on the registration form is true, complete, and correct. BOQ shall not be liable for any claims, damages or liability arising from any incorrect or incomplete information provided,” the website noted.

Below is the step-by-step guide to OHP registration online:

Step 1: Returning Filipinos and other qualified international travelers must log in to the portal: and get a transaction number at least three days before arrival to the Philippines.

Step 2: Once the system accepted the entry, the applicant must take a screenshot of the QR code. This needs to be printed at the airport upon arrival to the country.

Step 3: 24 hours before the flight, the applicant must fill out a health declaration checklist.

Step 4: At the Philippine airport, present the OH personal QR code for arrival and hotel assignment. An immigration officer will hold an orientation before travelers were given an immigration clearance and head over to the assigned quarantine hotel.

Step 5: Proceed to the Bureau of Immigration for arrival clearance. Claim the baggage and proceed to the customs inspections area.

Step 6: Take the accredited or arranged transport service.

Step 7: After the 10-day quarantine period, the traveler will be given the Covid-19 test result as well as the quarantine certificate.
