Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced at least three more flight diversions for flights originally from Dubai to Manila this month.
In a press release shared by Mr. Geoffrey Salatan, a seasoned travel manager in Dubai, the reason behind the flight diversions is due to the ‘recent travel restrictions set by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority in Dubai’.
The remaining flights of PAL in September will be diverted to Davao and/or Subic International Airport.
Below are the revised and updated flight details:
> PR659 28 September 2021 – Dubai to Davao
> PR659 29 September 2021 – Dubai to Subic
> PR659 30 September 2021 – Dubai to Davao
All passengers included in the diversion are reminded of the following requirements:
1. All passengers must present a negative RT PCR test result taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to boarding the aircraft. 48 hours shall be counted from the time of specimen collection and not from the release of the RT-PCR result. It is recommended to do the PCR Test a day before the flight.
2. Each passenger must follow the mandatory use of FACE MASK & FACE SHIELD at the airport and on-board the aircraft.
