Dubai gives 6-day paid leave to some workers to visit Expo 2020

Some workers in Dubai, specifically those who are working in the government sector, will be given six-day leave so that they can visit the Expo 2020 and experience the wonders of the world. 

Issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the idea behind is for the government employees to understand global innovations being displayed at the world fare. 

Taunted as the biggest event in the world, Dubai Expo 2020 will kick off on October 1 and will run for six months. 

Employees may avail leaves until the event ends on March 31, 2022. 

“Expo 2020 is a unique event that will bring the world to Dubai. They will bring their knowledge, cultures, and creativity from around the globe. Our goal is to implement the Expo’s theme of ‘Connecting minds, creating the future’ practically. We want our team to be familiar with creative ideas from all over the world,” Sheikh Hamdan said.
