Two Philippine Airlines (PAL) Dubai to Manila flights have been diverted to Cebu ‘due to unavailability of quarantine hotels in Manila.’
These flights, according to a press release sent to The Global Filipino Magazine by seasoned travel manager Mr. Geoffrey Salatan, are PR656/ 17 and 24 October 2021 flights.
The departure of the diverted flight from Dubai will still be at 19:30. Meanwhile, flight from Cebu to Manila will be after seven days.
Passengers are reminded to follow the mandatory use of face masks and face shields at the airport and onboard the aircraft.

Quarantine hotel assignment will be done on arrival for OFWs.
Non-OFWs are mandated to have a confirmed booking, including transportation arrangements at a hotel accredited by Tourism and Health Agencies for at least 10 days. They will not be be able to board the flight if they miss presenting a confirmed booking upon check-in.
