The Philippine government has eased the travel restrictions for Filipinos abroad. However, those countries in the Yellow list are still required to undergo a five-day facility-based quarantine until they get their negative RT-PCR result on the fifth day. Meanwhile, those who belong to the Green list and are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 need no longer undergo facility-based quarantine. UAE, for the past couple of weeks, has seen a decline in Covid-19 cases, proving that its plan to mitigate the spread of the deadly virus is indeed effective. With this, Filipinos in the country are urging the Philippine government, specifically the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), to place the UAE on the Green list.
