‘To my fellow OFWs, huwag kayo matakot umuwi ng Pilipinas’

A Filipina who returned to the Philippines from Dubai told her fellow Filipinos not to be afraid if they wish to go back home.

Marge Gomez, an entrepreneur based in Dubai, took to her Facebook account to detail her journey back home.

“Ang ganda ng accomodation hotel for OFWs, isa-isang room pang five-star free lahat,” she wrote, adding that she was assigned to stay in Savoy Hotel.

She further added that she was offered food the moment they arrived at the airport for free, including the transportation to their respective provinces.

“Free lahat. Sa sobrang sarap ng food, kulang sa akin,” she said.

“Kapag OFW kang pauwi ng Pilipinas, alaga ka ng OWWA [Overseas Workers Welfare Administration]. They will take care everything. Iba ka, President Duterte,” she added.

Gomez also gave appreciation to the hotel staff for being accommodating throughout her quarantine.

“Ang mga OFW kahit saan man sila sa sulok ng mundo, pag-uwi nila ay makadama sila ng ginhawa na iba pala pag sarili mong bansa,” the Filipina businesswoman said.
