FREE public parking in Sharjah for Prophet’s birthday

No fee will be charged for public parking in Sharjah on the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) tomorrow, October 21.

On October 21, there will be no fee for public parking in Sharjah on the commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. 

However, the motorist still needs to pay for parking at selected zones identified by blue parking information signs. 

The public can avail accessible parking facilities in every area except:

  • Al Hisn Street (Bank complex)
  • Al Shuwaiheen
  • Al Shoyoukh Corniche Street
  • Qays Ibn Abi Sa’sa’ah Street
  • Al Jubail
  • Central Souq
  • Al Majaz 1
  • Corniche Street (Khalid Lagoon area)
  • Majaz 1
  • Majaz 2
  • University City Road
  • Muwaileh Commercial Area.

Sharjah Municipality will still observe inspection of the parking lots.
